Getting here
Most guests fly into Liberia (LIR), about a 2½-hour drive away. San José (SJO) is roughly 5 hours by road, or a short domestic flight to the Nosara airstrip.
We can set up a private transfer through Todo Nosara so a driver is waiting when you land.
Getting around
Nosara's roads are mostly dirt, and life moves between the beach, yoga studios, cafés and town. Golf carts, ATVs and 4x4s are the easiest way to get around, and many spots are a walk from our villas.
The beaches
Playa Guiones is a long, uncrowded beach break known for surf most days of the year. Playa Pelada, just north, has tide pools and sunset spots. Further up the coast, Ostional is famous for its sea-turtle nesting.
When to come
December to April is dry season: sunny days, golden hillsides and peak demand, so book early. May to November is green season, with lush jungle, afternoon rains, quieter beaches and great surf.
